Three Sino-Austrian Nanotech projects selected

Within the first joint call between Shanghai University and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), three joint projects were successfully selected. The Austrian partners will receive financial support from FFG totaling approximately EUR 0.75 million – 50% more than initially foreseen. The Chinese partners will be funded from Shanghai University. Among the Austrian winners are Graz University of Technology, Austrian Institute of Technology, Joanneum Research, kdg mediatech, Vienna University of Technology, Lithoz, and Botest Systems.

The longterm cooperation between Shanghai University and FFG aims at organizing three joint calls. The next joint call is planned for autumn 2016 on the topic of graphene, nano-based and nano-functional materials, 3D-printing and processing.
